THE EQUESTRIAN COLLECTION
MFL
The world of leather and equestrian heritage have always shared a natural, timeless bond — both rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for material and movement. Saddles, bridles, riding boots — leather has long been the noble companion of the equestrian spirit.
It speaks of elegance, discipline, and quiet strength.
In honoring this connection, we envisioned a series of collectible leather boxes that would not only serve a purpose but also tell a story. To bring this vision to life, we partnered with artist Radu Carp, known for his ability to capture the raw energy and grace of horses in expressive, poetic form.
Each piece in this limited edition collection is handcrafted from premium pull-up calf leather, carefully constructed both inside and out in our atelier. On the surface, Radu Carp paints — directly on leather — scenes inspired by the equestrian world: moments of motion, stillness, and bond between human and horse. Each box becomes a canvas. A keepsake. A statement.
These pieces are one-of-a-kind art objects, with soul and story, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Designed for collectors and those who live surrounded by meaning.
This is where leather meets legacy, and where functionality becomes emotion.

Radu Carp - The painter
Radu Carp was born in Bucharest in February 1998. He graduated in Visual Arts from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, completing his bachelor’s degree in Graphics at the Faculty of Fine Arts and his master’s in Mural Art at the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design. His thesis, Ornamentation and Rhythm in Mural Composition, explored the intricate relationship between design elements and the flow of mural art.
Radu’s work spans painting, book graphics, and muralism, with his pieces displayed in galleries both in Romania and internationally. Notably, his work has been featured at the 1001arte Gallery in Bucharest, and he has participated in two group exhibitions in Paris in 2022 and 2023 at Rivoli 59, as part of a cultural exchange between the 1001arte and Rivoli59 associations.
In graphic design, Radu has contributed to comic projects, including Histories from 89, a collection reflecting on the 1989 Revolution, which brought together 38 comic artists. However, it’s muralism that truly captivates him. Since he felt confined by the limitations of paper and canvas, Radu has focused on creating large-scale works that connect with public spaces. His most recent mural, a series of portraits of philosophers, can be found on the walls of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Bucharest, completed in 2023. Radu’s first public mural appeared in 2019 on the fence of the Mihai Viteazul Secondary School in Călărași, and in 2022, he painted a mural on the Rivoli 59 building in Paris.
Now living and working in Bucharest, Radu continues to explore new artistic horizons as a freelance artist, bringing his unique vision to the walls and spaces around him.

The Midnight Hunt

The White Mare
With its equestrian-themed painting and impeccable finishes, this luxury box is perfect for storing precious items in style.
Every stroke is visible, creating a complex whole in which you can see each and every hand movement that he made to bring this piece to reality.

Royal Procession
Royal Procession, a round leather box that feels like it carries a story. The texture is soft but strong, aged just enough to feel timeless. What makes it truly special is the hand-painted scene by Radu Carp — a moment frozen in motion, full of quiet power.
You see horses mid-stride, riders steady and focused, as if part of a grand event you’ve just stumbled upon. Each figure is painted with care, not rushed, not copied — just one artist and his brush bringing the leather to life. There’s depth, movement, something almost noble in the way it all unfolds.

Dancing Stallions
This leather box is full of life and movement. The leather is warm and smooth, with a soft glow that catches the light just right.
At its heart are two stallions, hand-painted by Radu Carp — not posed, but caught in motion, mid-leap, full of joy. They seem to float over a field of wild, abstract brushstrokes that feel like scattered petals or echoes of hooves.
Radu’s brush makes them feel alive. You can almost hear the rhythm in the silence. This piece doesn’t ask for attention — it holds it, quietly and completely.

Saddle & Shadow
This piece is quiet luxury in its purest form. Crafted from premium calfskin and Hair-on-Hide, it’s all about texture — the kind you can feel just by looking at it. The surface has a natural rhythm, with a soft grid-like pattern that catches both light and touch. It’s smooth at the top and base, framed in deep, dark leather that anchors the design with elegance.
There’s no need for embellishment here. The materials speak for themselves — rich, tactile, and warm. It feels grounded, almost meditative. Like something that belongs in a space where everything is chosen with care and nothing is rushed.

The Gallop of Command
This piece is refined and quietly bold. Made from premium calfskin and Hair-on-Hide, it’s all about feel — soft to the eye, rich to the touch.
What sets it apart is the painted scene — The Gallop of Command, brought to life by Radu Carp. A single rider, horse mid-air, number 7 on the saddle — captured in full motion, full focus. It's a moment that holds power without shouting.
Carp’s hand is steady, thoughtful. Every brushstroke carries intent. You can feel the movement, the tension, the quiet confidence. Perfect for anyone who feels something stir when hooves hit the ground — for those who know the beauty of control, speed, and stillness, all at once.
